A typical blend that used to be very popular in the Nord area where people would ask for a half n half or 50/50 at the bar. It was also preblended by the breweries using a barrel-aged biere de garde and a young ale to provide a complex, yet balanced drink. The result is a complex and tart profile meld with a hoppy and floral character that balances perfectly and would recall the spirit of the Belgian Gueuze.
